This is my neighborhood dive bar with the big Old Style sign. It might not be your neighborhood dive bar with the big Old Style sign, but it's a damn good one and we're plenty okay with that. There's a payphone, artificial grass patio, cold beer only in cans, but you know taps are always suspicious at dive bars it's nice to just cut that step out. Diverse clientele and regulars, but not the point where it's an old man's club or anything.

This place has friendly and welcoming staff and regulars, and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else to grab a drink for funsies.

Had trouble finding a good neighborhood bar. This place felt warm and welcome as soon as I walked in. Pam the bartender is very personable, made me feel like I was at home. I shall be back again! I have found my new favorite neighborhood place!

Pam and Andrew are true stalwarts of the neighborhood, the kindest of friends, a second home and family for many. Loafers is real Chicago as it gets. You earn your respect here with humility. Nothing else.

Perfect neighborhood dive bar! Every-time I go the staff is always friendly and attentive & the drinks are fairly priced! Super cute secluded patio in back which they just renovated! Touch tunes machine and pool table. Highly recommend if you’re in the area to go on and stop by Loafers

I never really go to dive bar places but this one did match the friendly neighborhood vibe that other reviewers had mentioned! Bartender was friendly but not overly chatty and happy hour was a good deal

I come here 2-3 times a week for Pam and Andrew, they are so kind and welcoming, they know my drink order and make me and all my guests feel so welcome. This is my favorite dive in the city and I wouldn’t love it so much if I didn’t have Pam always showing me and my partner love and if I didn’t have Andrew making sure all my karaoke nights are full of joy.

Great place. Great patrons. Great tunes. Stopped in here after a long day out and about with my family on a recent trip. Felt like one of the locals and enjoyed good convo with some new friends. Bartender Andrew is a cool dude and treated me to my customary first shot of Malort. Can't say enough good things about this joint.
